PDF to DOC is capable of running under a standard user account, however we don't test our executables in a remote installation setting. I would recommend attempting a local install, and seeing if the issue resolves itself.

In regards to the registry, all keys in:
HKEY_CU\Software\CTdeveloping\
and
HKEY_LM\Software\CTdeveloping\
should be given permissions, however changes in HKEY_LM shouldn't occur except at installation and registration.

All temp files are saved to:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\CTdeveloping
so permission changes shouldn't be needed.

If you are continuing to have problems, please provide your system's specifics (such as operating system, service packs, other major softwares in use, and any custom permission/user settings)

I performed a remote install w/admin permissions using version 1.2.59.  However, a regular user cannot run the program w/out an error message at the end of the conversion.  The error reads "Unknown Error converting , going to next file" (there is no next file).  When I do a runas, the conversion works on the same file.  I've done several things:
 
1. Give the account full permission to the program file
2. Change the registry key and given full rights
 
Neither has worked.

How to install PDF to DOC for all users
is not a link, it is simply the header for the instructions.

However, because we have moved away from straight .msi installers (and now use exe files), these instructions are no longer relevant.

To install PDF to DOC for all users, simply log into your computer as an administrator and install it by double clicking the exe file which you have downloaded from: http://www.ctdeveloping.com.

If you are not logged into your computer as an administrator, PDF to DOC will be installed only for that user account.

I bought few days ago PDF2DOC converter but I am not able to convert  PDF text pages.
The result is always an empty page.
No problem with image .
