Adding Image Objects

Other objects such as images, checkmarks, and more can also be added to PDF files in PDFtypewriter.

Clicking the Add Image Button (2) will allow you to add an image to a PDF.

Once you have activated the tool, drag out a region on the PDF where you want to insert an image.

You will then be prompted to select an image

Select the image, click OPEN and the image will be imported into PDFtypewriter

To add a checkmark, click the Add Checkmark Button just like adding an image, you will need to drag out the region that you want to be checked.

You can also paste images directly from the clipboard to a file by pressing CTRL-V or the PASTE button.

To add a checkmark, click this button. Just like adding an image, you will need to drag out the region that you want to be checked. The background of the checkmark will be transparent. You can also add an X with this same tool. A drop down to select a checkmark or X will appear under this tool. Simply choose the one you wish to add.

Add Image Button

Click Here to add an image to the current document. Then use the mouse to drag out an area where the image will be added as shown on the right by the gray rectangle on the red background.

Select Image Dialog

Select an image via the pop up dialog to add to the PDF. BMP, JPG, and GIF image types are currently supported.
